California Jazz Foundation Gala

Jazz Band will perform at a California Jazz Foundation benefit to honor the Jeff Clayton Band. The Don Was Tribute Band, a band specially assembled for the evening's activities, will also perform. Band members include Dan Was, Marcus Miller, Paul Jackson Jr., Ronnie Foster, and Clayton Cameron. 

Black History Mural Unveiling

Shining Light Foundation has sponsored the creation of a mural on the side wall of the FPCAC building. The mural features three important black musicians. The unveiling of the mural will take place at 1 PM on April 17, 2022.

Jazz Band Combo will perform at Homeboy Industries Annual Gala honoring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Mike Stroller of the renowned songwriting/producing team (Leiber & Stoller) who co-wrote 70 rock n' roll chart hits. Homebody Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world.

The 2.5-mile parade is the nation's biggest celebration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and includes more than 150 floats, bands, equestrian units, dance and martial arts ensembles and other groups--involving more than 3,000 people. The parade is televised on local TV.
